When describing Kamer 401 the word ‘red’ sprigs to mind. It has a sumptuous red glow about the place, the bar, the walls, and everything about Kamer 401 makes you want to stay for a while.

It is one of several hip lounge style bars on Marnixstraat just around the corner form Leidseplein, but the Marnixstraat ‘strip’ makes great bar hopping territory. Or you could of course, pick Kamer 401 (Room 401 in English) and just stay there till the small hours.
