Escape is huge, it is Rembrandtplein’s super-club. It can cater simultaneously for 2000 excited and expectant clubbers. 2000! Standing on the Rembrandtplein, looking at the venue you might wander where on earth they all disappear to.

Once you have indeed found your way in line and past the bouncers inside Escape you will find out why so many of Amsterdam’s young clubbers head here. A large dance floor, top quality light and sound systems and of course, plenty of pumping music. If mainstream’s your thing you’re in for a great night out.

The clientele is a mix of mainly local clubbers although they will let tourists in, not in large groups. Thursdays is student party ‘Franchise’ and every second Saturday is the famous “GLAM” “the leading event in the urban house scene”.
