Welcome to Polynesian paradise in Barcelona! The Aloha has perhaps the longest history of the Barcelona’s few remaining original Tiki bars dating from 70’s. The decoration is truly Polynesian / Hawaiian, with a serious Tiki theme, plus a large area of private 'beach hut' style seating. The huts or bungalows provide extra privacy for small groups or couples, with a romantic quiet atmosphere. The large menu of cocktails with alcohol or without, are available in wonderful collectable Hawaiian mugs. Along with the serious Tiki interior design there is an impressive little pond at the entrance that is complete with real animals, including turtles, fish and birds. The staff, properly outfitted in floral style t-shirts, is always happy to see new guests at their bar. At Aloha everything is done perfectly so you feel that you could actually be on an island in the Pacific. On certain nights you might find yourself attending the Tiki party called “Tiki Fiesta”. It is mostly visited by Barcelona’s Tiki fans but also for newcomers. Tiki bars used to be quite popular in Barcelona and until the mid-80’s the city still boasted some 10 Tiki-themed bars.
