Home to both Indy-rockers and electronica aficionados, Sala-Apolo is a safe bet for a good night out most nights of the week whether you are attending a live show or the dance club, there is no way to lose. Catch one of the gigs (a fantastic agenda of international touring bands) or arrive after 12:30 am to get down on the dance floor. The club has special theme nights such as Nitsa on weekend and Powder Room on Thursdays. Fridays and Saturdays bring a student-aged crowd intent on getting as much as possible from the dance floor to the heavy electric beat. Apolo has something for everybody’s tastes at least once a week. The club queues can look daunting especially on Fridays but normally passage into the club is a more rapid ordeal than some other big clubs. Concerts can sometimes start as early as 19:00 in the afternoon. The dance club opens around 12:30 am however, the fun usually starts a bit later.
