Sol y Sombra is designer Tomas Alia’s latest creation. It cements and embodies the essence of many a Spanish tradition, like bullfighting, leather goods, horseback riding and flamenco, transforming them into more modern, avant-guarde concepts. With a capacity of 400 and the best echoes of Jazz, Flamenco-Chill, Rhythm & Blues, Sol y Sombra hosts live concerts from Wednesday through Sunday, playing sounds from the most enthralling of music genres. Sol y Sombra is an entirely modern place in every aspect of the word. The entrance resembles the taverns of old traditional Madrid and despite its all round modern decor, the authenticity remains intact.
