Experimental rock band Religious Knives star at the kick off of the season at El Perro Club. “The Door” is their new CD recorded for Ecstatic Peace in the Spring of 2008. It should be coming out in the fall. It’s got 6 songs, including the live jammer “Downstairs” that they worked out on the west coast and beyond, and is a deeper view of the subterranean dweller, the unfortunate seeker, and the thrill of survival.
