The Chatelet area has got something for everyone, even for wondering Australians. From the outside L’Unity looks a bit old fashioned and off putting. However, once you realise that even though it looks closed and deserted, it is however open every night and is a true Lesbian stomping ground. The huge wooden bar in the middle of the venue, the small room at the back hidden by a curtain and the decor all add to the look of an American bar often featured in films from the 70’s. Les Neufs Billards is one of the most surprising bars in Paris.
