The only way to get to this little unpretentious club is through the bar area built along the edge on a stonewall cellar and down a set of stairs into another cellar with a stage at the back. Green and blue armchairs are provided for seating with a few pictures scattered here and there to decorate the bare walls. The closeness of the stage creates a very intimate feel and draws the public right into the musician’s sphere. Both the young and old are attracted to the simplicity of this venue with its warm atmosphere and its eclectic but quality selection of concerts. The music is usually pretty traditional with bebop and covers regularly played; there is a small place for more improvised music.
