This bar is in the heart of Pigalle and has become the main meeting place for late night drinkers. The mixed and a little worse for wear clientele always end up dancing to Pierre Carré and his band who manage to get even the most inhibited souls tapping their feet. Time has stood still in this bar with its disco mirror ball on the ceiling, the Elvis haircut sported by the in house singer, the red-carpeted walls and locals who have been coming here every night for over twenty years. Drinking here is a journey back in time right into the night. It has stayed true to what Pigalle once was. French rock group Les Negresse Vertes regularly pay the bar a visit and it is even quoted in the song lyrics by of ex Negresses Vertes singer Mano Solo.
