If you thought an unpretentious, reasonably priced bar with good music in the touristy Latin Quarter didn’t exist, you haven’t been to Bob Cool. One of a dying breed of true Parisian bars; you can while away the hours at the bar sipping a mojito; or playing chess or backgammon on the tables in the back. The owner quickly becomes a friend and the free shots are never far behind. Typically Parisian, you’ll find young people who come to debate politics and discuss everyday problems, from the strikes to their holidays. All this is done whilst listening to music from Manu Chao, Bob Marley or Mano Solo. An excellent bar!
