Perched above the disused railway line called la petite ceinture, this transformed metro station is a funky bar and has become one of the best concert venues in Paris. Beautifully done up in an industrial style which sits well with its past vocation, it hosts rock concerts and club events every night of the week. When the entry price isn’t free its so low that you hardly notice. If hunger strikes you can sit down for a bite in the restaurant looking over the disused railway track below which is well worth the sometimes long wait.
