Les Disquaires opened in September 2007, and has become the most talked about bar in Paris. It’s run by the team who put the Les 9 Billiards on the trendsetters map and have now decided to move their concept to Bastille. The drink prices remain very reasonable for the area (2,5€ for a half) and every night you can catch different Djs and collectives behind the decks. You don’t come here for the deco- as there really isn’t any, nor for a selection of cocktails. No, you go the Disquaires to dance and have fun to the music. The rock concerts, electro Dj sets are non-stop. The selection is up to date, eclectic and sometimes surprising, and like the public non-one takes them selves too seriously. You dance, drink, flirt..In a nutshell.. despite the crowds at the weekends, Les Disquaires is one of the most fun bars to go to Paris at the moment.
